Starter Maintenance (Video)
« on: April 27, 2012, 10:53:49 AM »
Found this on You Tube. Though it might be useful.

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Finally, over two months later i had all the bits together tonight, followed the steps in the video, made sure to rotate the brushes toward the OUTSIDE of the starter motor, retracted the springs with the help of my son and presto...added energy with a battery charger and it spins.. Success!  Tomorrow I'll reinstall the starter.
