Shoei Neotec

Just picked up one of these

http://www.shoei-helmets.com/neotec.aspx

It's fantastic... modular design (flip up front face), built in pinlock for fog free riding and a flip down top-gun style sunshade...  If it massaged my head whilst driving it'd be a 10.

I own a Multitec now and owned a Doutec before that.  Both great helmets.  Love the convenience of the flip-front and doesn't bother  me that they are not Snell rated.  Price is in the region of $500.

I find it amazing at the number of Schuberth C3 copycats that have sprung up and this one is priced accordingly.

FWIW, I only use the sunshade on my C3 as exactly that - just like the sunvisor in my truck. I can't look through the entire shade in late afternoon light - the polarizing in the lens is way too distracting.
You can get more with kind words and a REALLY BIG gun, than with just kind words...trust me

I own a C3 and very happy with it. The one thing I do not like about it is the price. Megabucks!!!!!!  I also own a Nolan N100 that works well.

The helmet that I miss is my old System 2 by BMW. I think it was crafted by the same people as the C3. Liked the dimples on the top.

Just north of 500+

I'm finding the stock cheek pads a bit thick, going to get the slimmer ones.

FUR COVERED motorcycle helmets were the order of the day at Karl Lagerfeld's Paris Fashion Week, where the designer showed off his autumn/winter collection.

The mink covered helmets, made by French brand Ruby, and fitted with an iPod connection, so those with more money than sense (or conscience) can look, er, cool.

Lagerfeld said: "Now everyone is on scooters, even chic women, so we had to do the helmet."
