Mine has been snapped off since I got the bike in 2000. Not a big deal, but I'd like to weld the correct size rod in place so the seat does not flap around when opened. Anyonbe have a pic of what it looks like?

Thanks - even I can fab that.
Weird, given how the rest of the bike is designed and assembled, welding on a bent piece of bent steel rod seems, well, harley-esque..
