3/31/12: Updated to Ver. 2.0 and complete now that Galfer got me the right line.  Yeehaw....

EDIT: When I went to install these lines, one of them did not fit: the line that goes from the ABS control unit to the splitter (BMW calls it a "distribution piece" in the parts catalog.)  The fittings on both ends of it were wrong.  See the first two attachments below.  I worked with their tech guy to get a replacement which showed up today. (March 29) It's not EXACTLY like the OEM line because Galfer only has 20 degree lateral bend banjo bolts and the OEM banjo bolt has more of an angle to it.  The moral of this story is don't try to install these if you've got the wrong line.

Jumpin Jimmy B also had issues because the rear ABS on his 93 ABS I RS has two lines whereas the 94+ ABS II bikes only have one "soft" line from the metal line from the ABS control unit to the caliper.  He worked with the same tech guy to get his situation straightened out.  The moral of this story is that if you've got an ABS I K100RS4V or K1100RS then you need a kit that has six lines, not five.

We both worked with the same tech guy there and he now understands the differences between the lines on the ABS I and ABS II bikes.  I also told him that the K100RS4V uses the same lines as the ABS I K1100RS.  Hopefully their next catalog will show two different kits for the ABS I and ABS II 4V Ks.

I don't know if Galfer builds to order or builds to stock so check your kit closely when it shows up.  The name of the guy we worked with is Robert Davila and Galfer's US phone number is 805-988-2900.

I'm  pleased to report that the replacement line that Galfer sent me works. :2thumbup:

There is one minor mod required though.  Since the Galfer line banjo bolt only has a twenty degree lateral bend in it I needed to get my Dremel out and cut a tab of metal off of the fork brace in order to be able to turn the banjo bolt enough so that it will pass through hole in the rear of the plastic fork brace cover.
