1994 K75s cutting out

went for ride up through Lassen National Park and came back today when trouble started.  Was riding from Susanville at 60 mph and the bike completely died but as I slowed it restarted.  All the dash lights were out when it cut out.  Stopped once to get fuel and it started ok but completely died same thing.  turned ignition on and off and it restarted and was normal.  Stopped one more time before home and it would not start.  When ignition turned on the dash lights and head light very dim and no starter.  A couple times and it went dark completely.  Got a tow truck and brought it home.  rolled it in my garage, now it starts up and runs ok.  I tested battery at 12.6 volts not running and did a load test it was ok.  I assume its a weak connection but where?  I have cleaned the ignition switch and it looked ok prior to this and check all the connections I could think of since it was doing some thing like this about 4 months ago.  Any ideas where i can look?

tried it again after making first post and now it shows like dead/dying battery, dash lights very weak, no headlight at all no start???? wiggled igntion switch no help.  BUT..... if I keep clicking ignition switch on and off at some time dash lights will light up bright!!!

The ignition switch still seems faulty—maybe loose solder joints at the wiring connections or parts out of position in the mechanism.

  yes, I think that may be so.  going to take tank off inspect other wire connections and jump the green and red wire to the ignition switch and see what happens.  if every thing works then, I will know its the switch again.
