Paralever Conversion K1100/K1200 Driveshaft Compatibility
« on: October 06, 2025, 12:49:52 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with info on the compatibility of driveshafts between k1100 and k1200's.

I'm doing a paralever conversion on my k75.

A lot of the K1100 Final Drives on ebay are missing the Ujoint end of the driveshaft.

A lot of the driveshafts are sold minus the Ujoint end that attaches to the Final Drive.

There are some decent priced (Pre 06) k1200 Driveshafts but I don't know for sure if they will fit.

Based on what I've gleaned from the chart at the bottom of this link I think it should work but I'd love confirmation.

Thanks in advance.

In the K1100 line of the Largiader table below the photos in the link, it indicates K1100 transmissions have 16 Tooth (spline) transmission output shafts. The text above the photos indicates all K1200 models have 20 Tooth (spline) transmission output shafts. That one difference makes K1200 u-joints incompatible with K1100 transmissions.
