LED lighting review
« on: December 27, 2011, 04:38:50 PM »
Guys,
I wanted mostly to be as conspicuous as possible so bought some LED driving lights here: http://stores.advmonster.com/-strse-8/Model-30-LED-off/Detail.bok  2 lights and the mounting kit came to $160. and I'm very happy with them.  They are freakin' BRIGHT!
Most cars that are thinking about pulling out into my path are stopped dead.  If you're looking for bright (1500 lumens each) lights on a budget, check these out.

I know, I should be ashamed! I got back from a New Years day ride and by the time the bike cooled down, it was too cold to wash it...
Won't let it happen again. :embarass:

I have those on my my XChallenge.  They are VERY bright.  I bought one spot and one flood.  In hindsight, I wish I had bought two flood lights, because the beam pattern on even the floods is pretty narrow.
