Wiring Question: cable from speedometer to indicator relay

Hello everyone and good start to the year 2021!

I am currently to modifying my K100, I will replace the OEM speedometer with an aftermarket one and I also intend to eliminate the OEM indicator relay with a classic 3-way indicator relay…

Looking at the attached wiring diagram, the B / Gr cable that connects the relay to the speedometer, it is predisposed for the timing that starts at the moment the indicator key is pressed and stops flashing lights indicator after established km traveled….

Could someone confirm me?

I would agree, that is the purpose of the wire you indicated.
The 'movement' signal telling the flasher module that the bike is moving. The flasher module then calculates when you have moved the pre-determined limit to turn off the signals.
I cannot tell you if it is an analog signal or digital. My electrical background makes me think that it is digital, a pulse for every so many feet travel. Probably the same pulse that drives the odometer stepper motor.

I just wanted to be sure before changing the electronics, as that signal will no longer be needed after replacing the speedometer so I can blank it.

You also indicated that you were changing the flasher module, so yeah, it doesn't matter what is does/did do as you will have it disconnected on both ends anyway.
