Slip on cans
« on: May 05, 2019, 03:59:56 AM »
At last!
Got my green meanie k75 running, but not keen on the boring noise it makes!
Any recommendations for a ‘slip on’ can to make it sound better?

Thanks in advance.

An old beer can worked fine on the Mini; however, for the Brick, it's hard to find something that will sound great and perform well. It's just the nature of the engine design, so revel in puttering along like the Jetson's. Good Luck.
FWIW, I have a Staintune, and it's fabulous.

I have a NOS Mac slip on I found on ebay, love it but don't expect any performance gains.  It just sounds & looks better better.  Had a Luftmeister and it constantly needed repacking and eventually fell apart.  MACs may still be available new, found this...   http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=163500168629&category=178000&pm=1&ds=0&t=1548194469000&ver=0

Love the quality of the Staintune. On my wish list, if I can find one.

Experiment with a pair of these cans:

I understand cones really do it for a throaty K75.
