Different tank designs?
« on: March 25, 2018, 10:08:15 AM »
Ok, im stuck on this simple? one...

realoem just comes up with same design on every tank you enter from K75,K100, K1100, so no help there.
Different posts all over internet states that the different tanks are for the same bikes...Especialy on Ebay.

I know the individual tanks have different features like prongs, tabs, plaquet grove, mounting posts and so on.
But what about the main design variations? What design came on what bikes?

Smooth all the way down:

Has a kink on the side:

Missing the lower part.

  • K100RT -85, K100LT -87 and K1100RS -96.

Two first K-100 -83 -85.
Last K75.

The kink in the side on the middle one is a mirror effect from the background.
