1994 K75 Clutch pushrod bearing

Guys,
About to put back together my bike following spline lube new FD and DS and noticed something odd on my Clutch actuation assembly:

There is small  bearing Built into the clutch pushrod piston - you can’t dismantle it, to get at the bearing - but no separate bearing as on all the videos and manuals on K bikes.

I also looked at my spare gearbox and that is the same.

The 2 bikes had the piston installed a different way round.  Though I’m confident the spring sits in the recess (facing to the rear of the bike) as the pushrod fits perfectly in the pistons bearing recess on the other side.

Seems odd I have never seen anything about a different set up on the K75.

Can someone confirm it’s correct please and I can continue with the good work of getting another neglected BMW back on the road

That is the revised assembly. It's described in BMW parts fiches. This photo is from Max BMW.

I haven't seen that part in the BMW K75/100 2V workshop manual here because it's dated 1988, pre-revision. It isn't in Haynes because Haynes is dated '88, also. I have seen it illustrated in the K1004V manual here, K1100LT/RT manual here, and I've seen it in my moto. It was a revision to late K75 models. Clymer omitted including the change in the Late Model Supplement of their Brick manual.
