Hi all - i want to replace my old barely functional gas cap. I havent had any luck finding an aftermarket gas cap online. I have seen this question pop up before in very old threads so i am wondering if someone has recently manufactured an aftermarket gas cap.

You missed this cap and its variations in your search. This cafe racer site has a good reputation. You can also go to MAX BMW to purchase the appropriate gasket ring and gasket set for your bike found at this page in the Fuel Supply/Fuel Tank diagrams then use Chris Harris's video to help you with installation, if your cap body is still usable.
