Handy Motorcycle Lift

Well... I did it.  Pulled the trigger on a Handy motorcycle lift table.  A very high-quality lift made by folks in Iowa.  Ordered on Monday and the Old Dominion Freight truck was at my work dock on Friday.


This is the 1200lb lift that uses rubber doughnuts to raise the table.  No worries about water in the air lines rusting the works.

Ten years ago I bought one off Craigslist for $500 - best purchase I ever made. They went out of business a while back, and I was afraid they came back as "made in china". Good to see they are still made by Iowans.

They had a major fire in their home plant where these lifts were made(I may still have some pics of the fire).
After that they couldn't financially recover and the plant was closed and they were bought out, I never really knew by whom.

Handy is a division of Janco Industries.
They are rightly proud of being made in the US with decals on each accessory and a metal plate attached to the lift.
