K Bike Side Stand Switch
« on: March 04, 2017, 09:36:05 AM »
Do the K bikes typically have a side stand kill switch?  I've looked at several electrical diagrams and none show this feature.  I also do not see a switch nor wiring on my 1995 K75.  It was suggested that I check the functionality of the side stand switch, as it can prevent the fuel pump from operating, if switch is open.
Thanks.

A side stand kill switch is a safety device to keep operators from riding off with the side stand down. A K75 does not have a side stand kill switch. It's side stand safety device is side stand retraction by means of linkage to the clutch lever.
