Maxxis tyres

I am shopping for tyres for my K100lt at the moment, can't help but notice that Maxxis are half the price of Metzelers. any one out there using Maxxis tyres on their K's, I believe they are made in the United States? can't be bad then. I'd like to hear from people who use these tyres.

Which of their tires were you looking at?

From what I can tell the only motorcycle tires they have are for off-road and dirt use.
