I have a K100 with a sidecar. It's impossible to see the oil level with the car attached. I'm toying with the thought of replacing the sight with a tube and dipstick. Has anyone ever tried this?
Thanks. Frank.

That is what I do for my sidecar rig, mirror on a telescoping stick. I carry it in the tool space under the bike seat.
