Best brake lighting
« on: August 09, 2012, 05:29:30 AM »
I've done all sorts of messing around with LEDs and flashers and such for brake lights and I have to say that the most effective and easiest way to upgrade your brake lighting is to add a Lite-Blazer 56011.

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

What do these go for?

I know that BMW has an OEM option that is not cheap. The CHP has them on the back of their cycles.

$72.95

I bought my first one used on Fleabay for $10 just to try it out and was impressed. It was pretty old and only lasted about a year.  However, when I contacted Run-n-Lites about it's failure and told them it was well out of warranty they were still willing to replace it if I sent them the old one and a check for $10 to cover shipping. :2thumbup:

SCORE! Seems like a good deal all the way around. The one from BMW is about $125 if I remember correctly
