Review of Overseas Speedometer
« on: January 16, 2016, 08:36:16 PM »
Hey, I decided to post a quick review of my transaction with Rick. He is located in Austin Texas. I live about 30 mins from his house. I got his info off of this forum and called him on Monday morning. I explained what I had. He invited me to bring it over! We sat on the deck and he looked over my instrument cluster. Realize the previous owner tore this thing apart. I didn't believe it was salvageable. I brought it over to him and he said he could fix it. Today I went out to his shop and picked it up. Because I live so close I got to sit down with him and he showed me what was wrong and how he fixed it. We lit it up in the shop and Wow! The new red LED's looked great!!!! I had brought my wife and two little children and he welcomed them like they were his own! It cost a little more than I wanted to spend but I am very happy with his work. There are not many around like him( bringing back to life old tech). He has a whole shelf of old k bike parts! Really cool! I HIGHLY recommend this guy for any speedometer repair you need!!! Here is a photo of the completed product!!!

Thanks
Todd
