K Bike Seat
« on: October 06, 2015, 10:10:41 PM »
Hi K-bike freaks!

I am working on my '85 K100LT, and am looking to purchase a seat that is for sale on e-Bay. The seat that is for sale is a Corbin and came off a '90 K100RT. Anyone know if this seat will bolt on to mine? The underside of both look similar, but the attachments for the pivot and latch look a bit different.

Any help is appreciated..!!!

No, it won't.  The seat on the '85 and earlier had the grab handle integrated into it.  The 86 and later bikes had the grab handle integrated into the tail.  The seat pan / tail shapes and mountings are different.
