New K75S owner in Oregon... Hello!
« on: October 04, 2015, 01:14:58 AM »
My uncle passed away a couple months ago.  He was a surgeon in ND and loved airplanes and motorcycles.  He was a busy guy and didn't get to ride as much as he wanted...only 15K miles since he bought this K75S new in '87.  It's in amazing condition!
My aunt didn't want to sell the bike and asked if I'd like to have it.  I was honored and accepted happily.  I flew up to ND from Oregon a couple weeks ago, changed out all the fluids, put new tires on it and rode it from Bismarck to Portland.  Perfect weather, camped two nights in Montana...felt like a great way to pay my respects to my namesake and uncle.

By far the nicest bike I've ever owned.  I'm excited to learn all about it, work on it, ride it and enjoy it.  This site looks to be a great resource...glad to have it available!

Hello & welcome!

"...felt like a great way to pay my respects to my namesake and uncle."

Reckon you are dead on target with that sentiment.
