which holder for phone?
« on: September 16, 2015, 04:25:38 PM »
I have bought a interphone F4MC bluetooth intercom and headset.
I have a Oneplus 1 phone (Android) 5.5" and would like to use it as navigator, for music and for calls (not all at the same time) while i ride. So i'm looking for a good holder for my K75RT.

Because the weather here in Denmark can vary between damp and pouring down the holder/setup must be waterproof.
What are the experiences regarding waterproof MC-holders for smartphones?

my experiences are waterproof mc-holders for smartphones leak water...

bluetooth and navigation drain the smartphone battery quickly... so its gotts to be plugged to 12v to charge constantly...

i put mine in the tank bag till it starts raining... then i put it in a zip lock bag and put it in the 22 liter...

I have a suction cup mount for my Sharp Aquos Crystal which I stick to the back of the windshield. I've found that unless it's a torrential downpour my phone will not get wet. Being that you have an RT you might not have much to worry about as far as your phone getting wet.
