Changing the front tior on 94 K1100LT
« on: July 18, 2015, 08:37:06 PM »
Is it really necessary to take off both brake calipers on the front wheel to change the tior?  I can see that you need to be careful to not damage the ABS sensor on the left side caliper so it is better to remove it.  But I see no physical reason to remove the right one?

Well Johnny, because there is not enough room to get the tior off with the  brake caliper on!   :dunno  It's been said there are no dumb questions, but I  think this prolly qualifies!  As soon as I got started it was obvious the tior would not come off with the caliper on.  I didn't look before I asked the question. MY Bad.  Oddly enough the sensor stays put?  So now I gots a matching set O TIORS   :2thumbup: Battlax T30's front and rear. :riding:
