Siebenrock oil resistant clutch???
« on: June 17, 2015, 08:04:01 PM »
Anyone ever use a Siebenrock "oil resistant" clutch instead of OEM-Sachs?
Seems like a great idea for those who tour long distance...one less thing to go wrong in case of oil/trans fluid infiltration while cruising up the haul road.
They cost over $250 (about $100 more than stock).

Been thinking about one of those myself. Seems like everytime I let a "pro" mechanic touch the K, she gets an oil leak.

Of course, I could just stop letting the "pros" do my trans spline lubes, but that would require the bike being down for a couple of days because I'm slow at wrenching. Maybe its because I get too meticulous.  :dunno2:
