K75 gearbox output shaft wanted
« on: June 11, 2015, 08:42:30 AM »
Does anyone have an old K75 output shaft for sale? I need the clutch end splines to be pretty good but not worried about the state of the internal cogs at all. I need to make a clutch alignment tool so need it straight.
I'm in West Sussex UK & could do with this asap. And cheap!

Hello,
Just my humble newbie observation but if you need it fast check out this video from the BMW Motorrad Club of Northern Illinois. They use a makeshift adjustment tool at 20:15. This is what I am going to try unless there are some objections. Hope it helps.

Thanks Pete but I'm fitting a different engine altogether to the gearbox & bike. The alignment tool is to help drill multiple holes in new metalwork [emoji6]

No longer needed!
