Clutch boot clamp k75
« on: July 31, 2014, 12:10:17 PM »
I have done a search to no avail. Most posts refer to 'clamp'. The assumption is it 'the' clamp; OEM. My question is the clamp that holds the rubber clutch boot (that one at the clutch lever where the push rod is) anything special? Bike didn't have one and from the dealer is......weeks away at best. thoughts?

Just had a look at mine, I reckon a pretty standard jubilee clip would do the job just fine. (Or even a cable tie if you're desperate).

Do you mean the clamp that holds the pushrod boot to the outside of the gearbox?
If so its 23131241872  costs £1.70 over here, but tbh just looks like an everyday hose clamp, size 40mm  :2thumbup:

That's the one. Thanks all. I've got a bit of a selection of BMW clamps accumulated  over the years, I'll take a look there first. If not, I'll grab a regular one. IIRC, Beemer clamps are slightly narrower and fit slots that accept that narrower band.

Looks like just about every BMW bike has the same clamp, so you should be able to get a new one, but if not I will send you one  :2thumbup:
