On my Third Brick and she's a dream!
« on: July 10, 2014, 09:24:30 AM »
Hello all,

I joined this forum last week asking for advice on selecting a new K and received great feedback!  Bought her in a northern suburb of Chicago and transported her home to Georgia in a covered trailer. (I know, a K bike in a trailer is blasphemy).  Anyway, here she is!

Thank you all for the great advice!  More adventures with photos in the very near future!

What a beauty.  I like that green.  No rack on the rear?  I thought it was a standard feature.

Thanks subforry!  Palmetto Green is the actual color name and it is very unique!  Previous owner mentioned being at many rallies and only one or two others with this color at each rally.  No rear rack...and if I am not mistaken...not standard for RS's.

I recently acquired a front mud guard / fender in that colour that I intend to repainting and put on my K1100LT - I wasn't too sure about it when I first saw it but now I see your bike I think it looks great. Wishing you health to enjoy it.
