other sidecase options
« on: June 11, 2014, 10:58:13 AM »
hi all i've had "paula" my 95 k75 for a while now and i havent had the side cases for any of it, my dad lost one of the lids going down the highway before he sold the bike to me, i want sidecases but from what i've heard the factory cases have lots of problems, with hinges, latches etc, so my question, what is a good option for other brands and kinds of sidecases?

i know that I like the look of givi cases, and they would look good with the givi topcase that i already have

thanks in advance for the input

I would try to replace the stock ones, look on Ebay or try http://marketplace.ibmwr.org/ads/kbps

Currently there are City Bags on there, a bit expensive for me, and I like the bigger bags.  I just sold a set to a guy on this site, keep looking here too!

I would recommend a different rack if you're going to try different cases. The BMW rack only really works with the BMW cases.

The only rack I've been able to find is the Hepco-Becker Part No. 650615 00 01

The hepco-becker rack with either some krauser (now hepco-becker) boxes or some givi's would be an option. I was going to do that, but ended up just getting some craigslist OEM ones.
