Help finding How to for Marzocchi fork restoration
« on: March 07, 2013, 06:31:03 PM »
Hi,  I'm hoping someone can point me to a write-up detailing a how-to on teardown and rebuild of a K1004V/K1/K1100 marzocchi fork.  It can be web, Clymer, Hanes, or Youtube (preferred).  I've seen many write-ups on Fichtel & Sachs and Showa fork rebuilds as on K1002V/K75 but seem not to be able to find the Marzocchi one.  Guess I'm getting kind of hung up on the teardown process; maybe I'm overthinking things.  I'm after a good step-by-step process so that I can check and replace seals, clean and adjust the forks.  At the moment, both stanchions are completely off the bike and separated. TIA.

Fork Maintenance
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Ahh, the PDF links at the bottom of the first post!  I read that thread before I posted but missed the links in that read-through.  Thanks, Duck.
