WTB K1100LT (94-97)
« on: February 26, 2013, 12:54:21 PM »
Hi, I hope soon to join the K crowd.  I'm looking for a well maintained lower mileage K1100LT '94+.  Looking to have one in time from Spring up here in New England.  If you're not using yours as much as you'd like I'd put it to good use!  I'd prefer something local that I could look at, but could have it shipped to me after payment.  Willing to pay for a nice machine.  Thanks, Roger.  508-259-529 eight.  rogerstur@gmail.com.

What's wrong with a 93?

I'm glad mine's a 93.  ABS I makes spline lubes easier and the ABS I on my 93 works better than the ABS II on my 94 RS. (Less false positives - ABS kicking in when it shouldn't.)

The only drawback of the 93 is the 32A alternator but that's easy to upgrade.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

OK, wouldn't totally rule it out.  It was more about the final drive gearing that I've heard can make it a little more buzzy at highway speeds.
