Take the ignition switch off of the bike and take it to a good locksmith and they should be able to make you a key. Once you get it, make sure that it also works in the gas cap before riding anywhere.

Once you get your new ignition key here's how to make the gas cap work with it:

HMMMM?? is it possible to do that in reverse? In otherwords turn my gas cap keys (I have 2) into ignition keys by doing this to the ignition core?

I've never messed with taking ignition switches apart.

You can get to the switch wiring under the tank and replace it. Either with a switch from ebay, or an aftermarket one.
