I would like to get my seat recovered however the plastic base seems to have been "bent" in the middle. It is not flush with either the tank or the tail piece. I'm afraid that if I get it covered I will end up with a good looking seat which is not flush at either end. has anyone had any similar issues with the seat base? I can't see any way of adjusting it. If I push down hard at either end it "bends" back to something like it should be, but of course doesn't stay that way.
