REPLACE GAUGES WITH SINGLE SPEEDO
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:45:34 PM »
Hi everyone. I recently bought a k75 as a project for the winter.

Im wanting to change to a single small speedo as i am going for a minimal bobber look

Has anyone on here done this ? would any digital speedo work?

many thanks

Its doable. There should be a writeup on here somewhere. You will have to use one with a Variable Reluctance sensor conditioner or setup a separate sensor for the wheel speed.

Rpm wise, it should be easy to catch the tach pulse from the ignition controller.

You will also need to emulate the "start in neutral" setting with some relays.
