EBC make floating front discs for the K100 but I'm not sure if they do a wave rotor. I have a rear disc from them and it is a far better brake than the OEM stainless.

Yeah, and those stock ones are 'spansive too.  As mentioned already EBC makes some good rotors, especially for the money.  Prolly not wave rotors though.

AMEN, I R&R Pete's K 75 with EBC semi floaters, quite impressive over the BMW OEM stock rotors.

You are correct the EBC's are NOT a wave design, NO BIG deal, wave design is purely cosmetic in function.

FWIW, the pulse may clear up if you practice hard braking. Changing to a different brand of pads is another suggestion.

FunKy front wheel bearings can also mimic a pulse.

I happen to have a spare pair of stock front ABS rotors in my parts stash. Take off from a rear ended K 100, like new condition. Tempt me with a reasonable offer.

I have read the threads about the stock rotor's composition changing at the point were the pad touches the rotor if it sits for a long period of time. And this thing must have sat for awhile at 15000 miles.

I do recall one person saying he was happy with them but now I cant find the post, it was on another forum and my brain is desperately trying to overcome some bad pain in my back so it isn't working well today and I can't find it for you.
