BMW mechanic in Chicago
« on: May 19, 2012, 04:17:20 PM »
Hello,
Does anyone know an independent BMW mechanic in the Chicago area? I have a 87 K75 that needs to have the transmission and bell housing relaced. I have the parts.
The mechanic I used to go to has been ill and can no longer work on bikes.

Thanks,

Thad

I just purchased an '88 K75s on Saturday, and after a little research, took it to Jim at Rosefarm Classics in Woodstock.
815-337-6686

After 3 minutes of inspection, he answered 3 of the 5 questions that I had written down, and I hadn't asked them yet.  Not looking forward to the bill, but looking forward to my new BMW experience.
