I have a K1100 front end on my K75 and the braking is much better. If you swap in a complete K1100 front end:
a) You also end up with beefier forks that have progressively wound springs.
b) The K1100 steering stem is a narrower diameter so you lose the steering damper in the steering head - but all that does is make the bike a little wobbly at VERY low speeds. Aside from that everything seems to work fine.
But it takes quite a lot of parts including the forks, wheel, axle, rotors, fork brace, brake lines, calipers, master cylinder and fork trees.
