Performance upgrades from other K bikes?

How common are the parts on the different K bikes?

For example can you use 8V heads on a 2V? Will 1100 throttle bodies fit on a 2V ?

If you Fit an 1100 engine do you need all of the electrics as well? Can you keep it as a monolever?

Rear 1100 rear wheels fit without any mods? If you change the front end to 1100 do you need the triple trees?

Do twin piston front calipers fit 100 forks if you change the discs to 305's ?

Are there worthwhile cam upgrades for a !00RS 2V ?

Any other suggestions to get a bit more urge or is weight shedding the only way to go?

This mod is simple and very easy.........................................................you don`t have to do anything.

I should have said can I fit 16V heads to a 2V K100RS.

They have very different FI/engine management systems (analog L-Jetronic vs. digital Motronic) so you'd need to swap wiring harnesses as well.  For all the time/cost/effort involved I think you'd be much better off selling an 8v and buying a 16V.

And the paralever is a much better rear end than a monolever.  (Which is why my K75 now has a paralever.)

Supposedly the 85 and earlier cams are "hotter" than the 86+ version.

If you want twin piston calipers then you might as well do the whole front end and a 20mm MC.  That way you not only get much better brakes but better suspension with beefier progressive springs.  The one thing you do give up in that is the fluid damper since the 4V fork setup has a narrower steering stem but that only matters very low speeds. (Again, what I have on my K75.)
