Compression after a short run, and 3 days soak of about 10cc of Redex in each cylinder! Sticky rings, then?Photos in order of cylinders. 1,2 and 3.

Your bike is OK.

There are many innocent possibilities for the variation in readings,  which is small anyway. You need a good battery for accuracy, yours has laboured hard lately.

It would be good to change the oil, now that you have fixed the overfueling problem.

Hi.
Yes, I’m waiting for a new oil filter to turn up.

Ok
New filter came. Oil and filter changed. Bike started ok, and ran good after about3/4 mins of warming up.
Tbs need a balance, but I think I need 3 more tiny o rings on the adjustment screws, as I’m sure they may be leaking just a tiny bit as I can’t seem to balance them to within each other of themselves very well.
All in all, the bike seems to start and sound ok now. Revs pick up well on the throttle, and a quick spin up and down a near private road revealed the spline job works well and the clutch feels good. It really is as smooth as you lot say!
A new indicator relay and switches are on their way, and the front fairing is close to finished.
Hopefully, I’ll get it taxed and tested for May!
Thanks everyone for your advice on it all!

Hi Soggz,  delighted

Good luck with your roadworthy check,  and your last few tweeks. Hopefully you'll clock up a lot of trouble free miles after your epic repairs, at least you got to know your bike a bit better on the journey.

Cheers.
Switches and a new ‘ used’ relay came today.
Let’s hope it’s not ‘too’ used...
