Odyssey Battery

I just bought an Odyssey PC680 for my 91 K100RS.  It arrived today and I was surprised at how much lighter and narrower it was than the Westco I had been running.  I also noticed that it is slightly taller than the Westco.  I have not assembled it yet as I am doing some other work, but wanted to know if anyone who has used the PC680 in a similar application had any issues with the fit of the hold down bracket, Motronic unit, etc due to the slight increase in height.  Also, due to it being narrower, did you put any type of spacers in the void to keep it from moving around?  Thanks...

greetings bobr...

the pc680 and the battery compartment..

1st... i realize you do not have abs2 butts i gotts to say to those with abs2 you gotts to make sure the top battery hold down does not rubb against your steel brake lines at the abs unit...

2nd... the exposed top terminals on the pc680... freaks me out the way top hold down lays so close to both the + and the - terminals... so this is what i did... i took a one gallon plastic water jug and traced and cut out a chunk the same size as the top hold down... i tapped the plastic to the top hold down and now i gotts peace of mind...

3rd... center it in the tray and crank the bolts and all is good...

Hi Bobr,
I was worried about it also, all the Juce in a new batt.and the motronic "tray"above it?I cut an old car mat
To the shape of the hold down tray.I also felt the need to file down the eyelet ring on mine also.
I have a 95 K 1100 LT.
