Hello from Fayetteville, AR
« on: July 19, 2025, 06:02:48 PM »
Hello,

I signed up a little while back and asked some questions about my 1990 K100LT that was having electrical issues. However, I never did an introduction!

I’m living in Arkansas but originally from Norway. I’ve recently sold the 1990 K100LT as I could not get it running again. Since selling that I’ve just purchased a 1996 K1100LT with only 27,000 miles. I may customize it a bit come winter but for now I’m riding it as is and loving it. It’s way jumpier than the K100 was when it ran but I guess I’ll have to get used to that.

Thanks for your time and future thanks for all the help I know I will likely get from all you members.

Welcome to the scrum! Was the ignition switch issue resolved?

No, unfortunately not, but I was able to find a buyer who wanted to rewrite the bike as a father son project! Sometimes it all works out :)
