Keeping it real:A)Cellphones are a problem almost anywhere there's a signal. If drivers can't see ambulances stopped ahead of them, will another egg-sized amber light or two be the key to getting their attention?
B)You haven't been saved a ton of work unless it works.
Older folks often have cataracts start forming in their eyes. LEDs appear excessively bright when viewed through cataracts. A case can be made that the LED strips potentially dazzle followers and make judging distance from the lights difficult, and then there is the lessened reaction times accompanying aging and so removing the LED strip could be helpful.
I like South Florida—the rain squalls rolling over the Everglades, the Poincianas in bloom, a cool anón batido in July, doing the two-step on a dock in North Key Largo to the twang of a country band. The traffic is usually hellish everywhere unless you're deep in the boonies, then paramilitaries out for practice or the mosquitos are the problems. O, well.
