dirt donkey's

Dynamo dual sportin yesterday in Bald Eagle/Tiadaghton state forest with Rick in tow.

Warm, 45 degrees, most of snow pack was absent. However, northern exposures still had a icy coating. Tricky, read controlled power slide down the bitch. Ascending was different, read aim for the gravely bits out of the tire track. I almost lost it standing on the pegs and whipping on the throttle moto X style.

Experimented switching the ABS on & off. In treacherous, slick shit, more control with ABS hands down. In spite of how good you think your brain "traction control" command is.

Even the downhill bumpy sections seemed better with ABS, where you supposed to turn it off.

Ha, we managed to get lost, err turned around only once this time around, unlike our last ride together. Confusing array of roads & trails on top, some are NOT on the forestry map. Of course, forgot to tote along the GPS. dunno, more FUN simply holding a direction and see where you end up.

GS is filthy, I'm NOT usually a clean freak but she needs washed BIG time along with my riding gear.

official motobrick content:

check out the cosmetic K 75 spark plug covers added to the saddlebag tops and rear rack on Warcloud. BMW aficionados either LOVE it or HATE it, fu*K'em all, ride hard life is short.

K biking on tap for today.  :bmwsmile
