The tape I have stopped being sticky. I tried some double-sided sticky foam I had lying around and it was crap. Frankenduck references '3M mounting tape' somewhere...but not specifically for the surround mount. 3M sells what looks like a new 'VHB' (very high bond) product that's black and gray, not white like the OEM sticky foam, maybe it's a new product and the old white one is discontinued. I've never used it so I don't know if it's comparable to the old white stuff.

Anyone recommend a foam adhesive product that is proven to work in this context? Preferably a foam adhesive pad than a roll of tape. I don't need a whole roll, just something I can cut to whatever is needed, from memory I'd say about maybe about 40mm X 20mm.

Thanks for any help...

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
