K1100 LT OEM Exhaust - how to fit Mounting Bracket?

Thanks! but it appears the foot rests I have are correct oem, thanks to the expertise here on motobrick. My confusion was all down to my inexperience with this model ... K100RS/RT, K75S/RT before, but my first K1100!

I see that K has a protective panel/cover over the ignition coils. 

Was that an accessory?  I'm surprised to see K1100 models with the coils so exposed.

That was a personal mod by the selling party, not a BMW part.
