O-Rings for K1100RS Center Stand
« on: March 23, 2018, 09:52:16 PM »
I am upgrading the center stand on my K100RS to the K1100RS center stand.  I need new o-rings for the 'sleeve' (P/N 46 52 2 311 493) - does anyone know the correct size for these?  The originals crumbled away and I was not able to get an accurate measurement.  I bought some 20mm x 2mm and they were too small.

O-rings?  I have two of those stands and can't recall seeing any o-rings in there.  I wonder why there aren't any shown in the parts fiche.

Measure the diameter and width of the grove for the o-rings.

Cause they are included when you buy a new bushing......two per bushing.

The correct size O-Rings for the K1100 center stand sleeves are 20mm x 14mm x 3mm.   These are often used as 'prop savers' for electric RC planes and may be available at your local hobby shop.   If not, they are available on ebay for $0.99 USD for a 20-count package.   I ordered them on ebay and after taking a while to come on a slow boat from China they fit fine.
