SOLD ---- FS: FAMSA Tank bags
« on: July 26, 2018, 11:38:01 AM »
FAMSA 3 piece tank bag system in overall good condition. All zippers work properly.

$65.

I have used this tank bag on my 1992 BMW K75S for several years. More specifically, I have used the larger of the 2 bags for several years, but I have not used the smaller bag and the smaller bag is in like new condition.
There are some scratches on the clear map pocket of the large bag.

It is not shown in the photos, but the larger of the 2 bags is only shown UN-expanded. This bag will expand vertically another 3 inches.

The small bag can be mounted on top of the large bag for even more storage or used just by itself.

There is a waterproof cover included.

Note: You will need about 15 inches in length that is almost flat for the large bag. The base piece is flexible and the small bag is more flexible than the large bag, so the base and the small bag have the possibility of fitting more bikes than the large bag.

Buyer pays shipping. PayPal preferred.

maybe, depending on which bars are on the bike. I will have to dig out my original stock bars and test.

My bike has Heli adjustable bars (luv em) and there is contact with the large bag for about the last 1/2" to 3/4". But the bag just compresses with a little force and it never bothered me.

The Heli bars are higher and further back and therefor may contribute to the contact.

Will report back with more info. and test with both bags (small and large) and stock and Heli bars.  :popcorm

How about putting "SOLD" on the first post title?

That would have saved me some time looking at the bag, thinking "Hmmm...", reading further, scrolling through the posts only to see SOLD...   :2thumbup:

As a matter of fact, it would be nice if everyone did that once something was sold.
