Different master cylinder
« on: April 29, 2018, 04:30:04 PM »
Hey guys just got my first K75! Learning how to do things with it like the way it feels also have a Goldwing. But the issue having is the front brake master cylinder it doesn't look like the one that you have posted in the technical guide. Having difficulty taking it apart to get to the plunger piston I've taken out the 3 mm screw but but alas no luck.
Also how do you get the throttle linkage out?

Post a photo of the handlebar and its controls on both sides. Have you looked on the master cylinder for a manufacturer's mark?

Yes both controllers have the manufacturer's mark on there.

I sort of pieced it back together to give you an idea.

I hope this helps.

Now learn to post photos in the correct orientation so that it's easier for people to help you when you ask for it.

The parts look like stock from where I sit. What "technical guide" are you using?

Using the one posted in this forum but I just can't get the parts to separate.

Really appreciate your interest. I can't wait to get it on the road!

Thanks for the appreciation. How about answering the question. Exactly which one.

Your bike's fuel tank cap is 180º out of rotation. That can lead to excess water in the tank.

Click on the throttle service pdf in this post. It might help you sort out the throttle.

It's the post done by Johnny. I apologize for the picture orientation.  And thank you very much for the heads up on the gas cap orientation!

And I will definitely check out that thread.
