88 k 75s strange behavior
« on: October 21, 2016, 03:32:41 PM »
My 88 k75s.  First it woul start, then die,  push the starter button again and nothing
Happens, turn the key off and try to starts ok.  Later as I'm riding, the engine shuts off
And I coast to a stop, the instrument lights come back on and am able to start.  A couple of miles later
The same thing.  I'm suspecting a short somewhere.  I don't want this to be another brick in the wall..

Thanks, Larry,  Plano, Tx

...and clean the connection between the battery and the transmission.  I had similar issues and doing both cleared it right up.

...to make a long story short, use duct tape.
