K75S leaking rear master cylinder
« on: August 16, 2016, 08:01:22 PM »
Spent my day working on the K75S leaking rear master cylinder to no avail. Still leaking so I ordered the rebuild kit since the bore was not scored or pitted.

Followed the Drake Smith tutorial.

Dumb question No.438...

What's the purpose of the hex head bolt with the Allen key hanging out of it?

Thanks.

It's the screw that retains the piston assembly in the master cylinder.  The hex key is to remove / reinstall it.
