Question about use of Pitbull Front Stand
« on: December 18, 2014, 12:08:37 AM »
I have a Pitbull Front Stand that lifts from the hole in the bottom triple.  They sell a pin adapter for it for the K75.  My concern is would the front stand lift the centerstand off the ground?  :yow  Anyone ever use a Pitbull Front Stand with the centerstand?  I don't know why BMW didn't put a real centerstand on the K75 like the ones on my R1150R.   :dunno2:

If you need more clearance you can put a riser under the stand or pull the rear wheel. My HF lift has a removable panel for rear wheel clearance.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear.  With my other bikes, I use a rear stand and a front stand but nobody makes a rear stand for the K75s.  So what I am looking to do is the lift the front using my Pitbull front stand once I get the proper pin for the K75.  My question was if anyone had done this before and would the front stand lift the front high enough where the centerstand comes off the ground.  Obviously I don't want the centerstand to come off the ground.   :yow

As an update and for future reference to anyone that wants to use the pitbull front stand; I put an inch thick wood under the centerstand, adjusted the pitbull stand height to max, used the #4 pin, and it worked perfectly.  The rear tire is still slightly off the ground so the centerstand will not lift off the ground.
