Renewed rider, old brick
« on: January 12, 2016, 09:37:10 PM »
New here, new to flying bricks, been off bikes for 25 years but itching to get back on!  Found an '88 K100 LT in reasonable shape for a reasonable price on New Years Eve ..... so I bought it  !  Started right away at -5 C with no smoke.  Snow and ice limited the test to a long gravel driveway but I was hooked all over again.

History:

Learned to ride on an Indian with a suicide shift .... taught by army dispatch rider.
Rebuilt a 650 Bonneville in the late 60's, rode it 10 years.
Graduated to CB780 for another 7 years.
Last bike was a V45 Honda Sabre with a full Hannigan fairing ......

Gave it up for the wife, kids and minivan ......
On the loose again and returning with the K100

15cm is perfect!  Just enough to stand your beer cans upright in it.
